Jean Collet & Fils Petit Chablis 2023 :
The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is pure, chiselled and racy: it expresses tangy notes of fresh lemon, lemon zest, lime, green apple and fresh herbs, as well as clear limestone minerality. We also find a touch of acacia and hay in the background. The mouth is lively, vertical and vibrant. It offers a salivating acidity, notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), green apple and limestone, as well as a good bitterness of lime. The finish is slightly bitter, tangy and quite lingering. A very fresh and balanced wine, which combines liveliness and minerality with a certain roundness.

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. On the nose, it is closed and requires aeration. Then, it expresses precise aromas of green apple and citrus (lemon, lemon zest, grapefruit), associated with a touch of crunchy apricot, minerality (limestone, dry stone, rock), as well as with a hint of green pear, wild herbs and acacia. The palate offers roundness and gourmandise on the attack with flavors of white peach and juicy apricot, even a slight touch of vanilla and lime blossom in the background. In the mid-palate, we find flavors of acacia, ripe lemon, a touch of grapefruit and passion fruit in the background, as well as a very slight hint of toast and yeast. The finish is quite persistent, with good bitterness, flavors of ripe green apple and refreshing acidity.

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is concentrated, tense and gourmand. It expresses notes of white peach, ripe apricot, ripe lemon and dried lemon peel, combined with a bitter hint of grapefruit and almond, aromas of dried lime blossom, honey and wax in the background, as well as of acacia and limestone. The palate is gourmand, with pure fruit on the attack (apricot, white peach, lemon, green apple and grapefruit), then complemented by notes of honey, beeswax, dried lime and acacia. There is also a delicious hint of brioche and fresh yeast in the background. The finish is straight, precise and chiselled, with lively acidity and the bitterness of lime, enveloped in a subtle touch of candied lemon. A wine with consistency, complexity and freshness.

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose opens with a limestone and saline minerality, a slight bitterness of grapefruit, the tanginess of lemon and a touch of pulp of green apple. We also find a fragrant floral bouquet (acacia, honeysuckle, apple blossom) and a lactic touch of lemon yogurt, combined with notes of cut grass in the background. The palate is lively and expressive, with lots of fresh citrus fruits (lemon juice and zest, a hint of orange zest, candied lime, grapefruit), combined with flavors of green fruits (green apple, pear green, a touch of green plum), flowers (apple blossom, honeysuckle), with an enveloped, but fragrant mineraity (limestone, a touch of clay) and a milky roundness (lemon yogurt, peach yogurt ). The finish is voluminous and sapid, but refined. We find notes of crunchy apricot, a hint of fresh hazelnut and lemon juice, as well as a good bitterness of lime and a sharp acidity. Tension, associated with gourmandise.

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color with slight green reflections. The first nose is mineral, saline and racy. Then, it expresses the notes of lime zest, lemon juice, orange zest, grapefruit, green apple, as well as a fine floral bouquet (elderflower, acacia, apple blossom), a very delicate touch of toasted hazelnut and liquorice in the background, and a hint of fresh bread and yeast. On the palate, the wine offers juiciness, a tangy and airy scent of citrus and fresh green fruits (lime zest, yellow lemon, grapefruit, green plum, green apple), associated with floral notes of apple blossom, elderberry and acacia, as well as a gourmand touch of toasted hazelnut and vanilla in the background. The finish expresses a slight dryness of chalky and saline minerality, lively acidity, good grapefruit bitterness and good length. A chiselled wine, with substance, a certain density and an expressive minerality.

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose is concentrated, gourmand, fruity and slightly toasted. It expresses notes of candied lemon, fresh lemon, white peach, ripe apricot, ripe green apple (with a touch of yellow apple), as well as flower honey, acacia, apple blossom, hawthorn, linden, fresh almond, toasted hazelnut, as well as wax and hay in the background. We also feel a limestone minerality after aeration. On the palate, the wine is lively, very tangy and slightly bitter, but balanced, thanks to a round texture and gourmand fruits. We find chiseled notes of lime and yellow lemon, a touch of lime zest, green apple, as well as apple blossom, acacia, linden, fresh almond, flower honey and toasted hazelnut in the background. The finish is tangy, mineral and saline, with precision and sharp acidity. Precision, accuracy of flavors and straightness.
